Agriculture: the PS is committed.

Proposals worldwide:

1. France requested the inclusion in the UN Charter the right of peoples to ensure security of supply food. We consider peoples' right to food is a fundamental right . It meets a vital need and is a higher requirement for any commercial consideration.

2. France demands special treatment for agriculture in the WTO. Agriculture is not the variable adjustment of global trade. A billion people suffer from hunger. The market economy has completely failed to meet global food demand.

3. France is promoting the relocation agricultural production worldwide. Impose the principle of the right of peoples to feed themselves involves the relocation of agricultural production, "it must occur where people are hungry! This relocation meets social requirements. 4. France will hold its commitments on development assistance, particularly to support agriculture in developing countries.
